If you have a photo of a loved one, either human or animal, whose likeness you haven't committed to canvas, I don't need to be in their presence to paint their portrait.  Send me as many photos as you can, and I will do my best to capture their personality.  I painted a portrait of Terri Cohen's grandfather from a rather grainy black and white photo taken in 1972!  It is the only photo she has of him up close, and you can view it under "commissions."
